Dellner Dampers Delivers Viscous Dampers for Mumbai–Pune Missing Link Bridge

July 7, 2026

Dellner Dampers has successfully delivered 240 viscous dampers for the prestigious Mumbai–Pune Missing Link bridge project in India. Despite the demanding project schedule, all units were manufactured and delivered within an impressive lead time of less than 12 weeks.

Throughout the project, our team maintained a strong focus on quality and execution. As with all our deliveries, every damper was thoroughly tested and assigned a unique identification number, ensuring complete traceability.

As cable-stayed bridges continue to increase in span and complexity, effective vibration control is essential to protect stay cables and ensure long-term structural stability. Dellner Dampers’ viscous dampers are specifically designed to minimize cable vibrations, helping to improve bridge performance, durability, and safety.

The Mumbai–Pune Missing Link project marks Dellner Dampers’ 71st delivery of viscous dampers for unique bridge projects worldwide over the past 20 years, reinforcing our position as the world’s leading supplier in this field. Today, Dellner solutions are installed on many of the world’s largest and most iconic cable-stayed and suspension bridges, making us the natural and trusted choice for vibration control.

This project further strengthens Dellner Dampers’ presence in the Indian infrastructure market. Establishing a strong foundation for future collaboration on several upcoming major bridge projects in the region.
