Seismic dampers for onshore installations

In regions with increased risk of seismic activity, viscous dampers are installed to protect structural as well as sensitive components from the sudden shock of an earthquake. Dampers and buffers for offshore installations

Viscous dampers and gas-hydraulic buffers are used for reducing unwanted vibrations from roto and turbine blades or stabilizing movements of towers and oil platforms or for protection of crew and equipment by cushioning sudden impacts and load transmissions from waves or wind gusts.
